Read "A Spark of Truth" by Dialecticdreamer, now complete

 dialecticdreamer has finished posting "A Spark of Truth" today with Part 6.  (Begin with Part 1.)  I'm linking this again now that it's complete, for the convenience of my fans who prefer to wait until a story is done posting so they can read the whole thing at once.  

Aidan talks with Sabine about his superpower, offering her a choice that needs to be made soon though not immediately, and it turns into a pretty tense conversation.

I really like how this story handles interpersonal conflict.  Sometimes you try to do the right thing and avoid hurting anyone, and it all goes haywire on you anyhow.  Good people will own up to that and try to work through it instead of covering it up or fleeing.
