Youth Activity Safety Policy
With a square footage of 240,000 the H&K building houses the School of Health and Kinesiology as well as the Wellness Center that includes the Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS), Health Services, and Campus Recreation.
Some of the H&K building amenities include:

13 -- Health & Kinesiology Building (H&K)
The Health & Kinesiology Building has a glass front. Bike racks and picnic tables stand near the entrance.
Inside, the glass atrium has tables and chairs. These ping-pong tables stand in a hallway.
The locker room includes lockers of various sizes along with dressing benches. Individual cubicles each hold a sink, a toilet, and a shower.
The Wellness Center includes a large exercise room with various equipment. This room includes crossfit training frames and free weights. The Spin Room provides several rows of stationary bicycles.
Several physical therapy rooms offer individual attention. This one has chairs, rolling stools, and storage for physical therapy equipment. This physical therapy room includes several exam beds, rolling stools, and cabinets for physical therapy equipment.
Several Healthy Touch Rooms each include a massage table, chairs, rolling stools, educational posters, and storage for supplies.
The First Aid Room features an exam chair, a countertop with sink, and cabinets for supplies.
The Movement Studio has a smooth wooden floor, a mirror wall, portable barres, and storage for yoga equipment. It serves for classes in yoga, pilates, dance, and other activities.
The Climbing Wall has beginner, intermediate, and advanced areas. It stretches from the first floor up to the second. The Basketball Court includes two playing areas. The Swimming Pool is olympic size with bleachers along one side.
The Accessibility Services Center has its own section of the Wellness Center. This room stocks mobility equipment such as wheelchairs, walkers, and canes. This room holds personal care equipment such as bath chairs and toilet seats. This room holds large equipment such as beds, desks, and chairs. This room has the small life aids such as grip straps, cushions, and kitchen tools. This room offers fidgets and other sensory tools.
Research on Emotions and Cognition in Health (REACH) Lab
The Physical Activity in Health Promotion suite offers several inclusive features, including spaces specially designed for light and sound sensitivity and family restrooms, a child restroom, an adult changing station and a separate mother’s room. RDG's design also incorporates gender-neutral restroom facilities throughout.
The result is functional and flexible research, training, wet laboratories, graduate student workspace, offices and support spaces for the Midlands Sexual Health Research Collaborative, the Physical Activity in Health Promotion Lab and the Sports Medicine and Biomechanics Research Lab.
The REACH Lab has its own entrance. Several classrooms have tables and chairs. The Sports Medicine and Biomechanics Research Lab includes exercise equipment, tables and chairs, and cabinents along one wall. This classroom has diverse seating that includes tables and chairs plus couches.
The Physical Activity in Health Promotion Therapy Room has tables and chairs, storage cabinets, and a countertop with sink.
The Fresh Healthy Café has a counter serving fresh whole foods, mostly organic and locally grown. Small tables and chairs offer seating.
Upstairs is a mezzanine jogging track.
More classrooms are upstairs. This one has U-shaped seating.
Some professors have an office on this floor also.
