Daffodils bloom under the maple tree between the house yard and the south lot. In the background you can see the old picnic table with pots on it.

This one is yellow.

Flowers bloom around the contorta willow.

Under the contorta willow, this daffodil has an orange cup.

This one has a ruffled pink cup.

Blue grape hyacinth blooms under the contorta willow.

Flowers bloom in the purple-and-white garden.

White tulips are blooming. In the background, one tulip has a pink-and-white margin on the leaves.

Peony sprouts look like weird little alien tentacles.

Under the apricot tree, daffodils are blooming. Peonies and Russian comfrey are also sprouting.

Dandelions are blooming along the south side of the house.

These violets are blooming lavender.

These are blue-and-white.

The picnic table already holds a bunch of pots.

This is the latest pen comparison test. The old Sharpie marker label is faded down to a few illegible dots and streaks. The new Sharpie oil paint pen is still clear. The Craft Smart is just starting to fade. They've been out since early January, so it's been three months.

These are the wild strawberries that I rescued from the path at the Charleston Food Forest. I want to go back for more because I picked up a set of stacking planters that I can use to make a strawberry tower.

Here you can see some of the Shithouse Marigolds sprouting.

The septic garden is mostly grass and weeds at the moment.

The crosne knotroots are sprouting in this pot.

The grape hyacinths here are dark purple, almost black, on the bottom and lavender on top.
