Birdfeeding

Today is cloudy, steamy, and hot.  Clouds are towering up to the west.  There's a chance of rain tonight and considerably higher chances tomorrow.

I fed the birds.  I've seen a flock of house finches and a fox squirrel.

I put out water for the birds and watered a few plants.  Honeybees had nearly drained the metal birdbath.

EDIT 7/8/24 -- I watered the monarch strip and the bluestem strip in the prairie garden.

EDIT 7/8/24 -- I watered seedlings in the savanna.

EDIT 7/8/24 -- I watered the tower strip and the notch in the prairie garden.

EDIT 7/8/24 -- I did some work around the patio.

I'm hearing thunder to the south.

EDIT 7/8/24 -- I watered the septic garden.

EDIT 7/8/24 -- As it is now raining, I am done for the night.
