Good news includes all the things which make us happy or otherwise feel good. It can be personal or public. We never know when something wonderful will happen, and when it does, most people want to share it with someone. It's disappointing when nobody is there to appreciate it. Happily, blogging allows us to share our joys and pat each other on the back.

What good news have you had recently? Are you anticipating any more? Have you found a cute picture or a video that makes you smile? Is there anything your online friends could do to make your life a little happier?

Fandom Happy:

A fandom friend and wonderful writer came back from a 2 year dead zone as she called it. I’d kept in touch with her during that time and she did tell me she probably would not be coming back to the story. I was sad (so were others) but understood. Then she emailed saying she had rediscovered her writing Muse and put up four new chapters.

We’re arranging to do a FaceTime meet-up which will be lovely.

Reading a wonderful chapter two days ago by another brilliant author with whom I share a multiverse.

Some kind comments on my own fic.

Preliminary arrangements to meet another fandom friend in the spring.

My good news is I am feeling better than I was at the start of the week. I was pretty sick for about three days, so now that my body is doing better I am happily getting caught up on stuff around my house and hobbies.
I hope you have some happy news as well! :)

I've been making fresh bread using my Dutch oven that I got for Christmas. It's so much better then the bread I was making using a loaf pan before.

I've been using this no knead recipe and loving it.

Today I made a loaf with dough I made this weekend. It smells so good. I'm planning on making breakfast sandwiches with it in the morning. This is the second loaf of this batch of dough.
And this is the 2nd time I've made this recipe. :D it's a keeper.

This recipe makes enough for 3 good sized loaves of bread for my household of 2 adults.

My genetic testing results came back and there is nothing in it that would increase my risk of cancer. (Meaning that my prostate cancer is not genetic in origin, and my risk of getting any other kind is no worse than anybody else's.)
