Birdfeeding

Today is cloudy and still frigid. Last night it got down to -7°F with -20°F wind chill. Currently it is 2°F with no winchill.

I haven't fed the birds yet, but they are hugging the feeders hard. I've seen a flock of sparrows, a pair of cardinals, at least one dark-eyed junco, a mourning dove.

I have suet to put out later. \o/

EDIT 1/15/23 -- I fed the birds and put out the suet.

I'm sorry to hear that. If it gets down just to 34 deg F, my body starts going numb. Yes, I cope better in the summer.

I'm not thrilled when it gets this cold but I do better in winter than summer. I overheat too easily. In winter, I can put on extra clothes to go out.
