After some experimentation, I discovered that I like a target-rich environment. With a short list, I feel bad if I don't finish it. Here, the objective isn't necessarily to finish everything but to see how many goals I can meet. It works for me.

I don't ordinarily think of myself as patient, because I get bored very easily. I like gardening, though, and think nothing of planting an oak tree that will outlive me by centuries. I've written books. So I suppose patient is a reasonable description. Thanks for pointing it out.
