Poem: "The Spell Is Qast"

ysabetwordsmithThis came out of today's fishbowl. It was inspired by a prompt from nsfwords. It also fills "The Tower" square in my 1-1-24 card for the Public Domain Day Bingo fest. This poem has been sponsored by rix_scaedu. It belongs to the series Quixotic Ideas.
"The Spell Is Qast"
-- a quintilla
The time is right; the spell is qast.
The qrystal's set; the wards are raised.
The qaster makes the anquor fast,
And for the work is duly praised:
Long years the tower's wards shall last.

Notes:
The quintilla is a Spanish form consisting of a five-line stanza. Normally the lines contain 8 syllables and have only two rhyming sounds. There are many rhyming patterns used, the only one that is avoided is one that has a final rhyming couplet.
Anquor -- an object imbued with magical qualities to keep something stable or return it to a predetermined place or condition. An anquor may be used for grounding energy, supporting wards, helping a sqryer return to everyday consciousness, and so on.
Qast -- verb for sending magic, such as a spell, to do its work; or for throwing a set of magical objects, such as runes, and interpreting the meanings of the pattern revealed. The person doing so is a qaster.
Qaster -- the person doing a spell or other magical working.
Qrystal -- a semiprecious or precious stone with magical aspects, or one which has been set up for a specific type of magic.
