Birdfeeding

Today is sunny and mild. It drizzled a little more yesterday.
I fed the birds. I've seen a pair of house finches.
I gathered wild onion bulbils from the septic garden and planted them around the maple tree in the yard by the house.
EDIT 9/22/23 -- I gathered purple and yellow coneflower seeds from the wildflower garden, and planted some there and others in the prairie garden.
The prairie garden is loud with bees today -- bees, wasps, butterflies, and many other insects are covering the goldenrod and other late-season flowers. :D There's a fair number of monarch butterflies today, though I haven't seen them chaining up yet; it's their migration time and we're on a main route.
EDIT 9/22/23 -- I gathered wild onion bulbils from the wildflower garden and planted them around saplings in the savanna.
As it is now dark, I am done for the night.
