I wanted to make a boho paradise, to show what they look like in T-America where most towns have a hangout (or several) for the creative types. I had fun thinking up what things would be needed (a gift shop, an art supply, shop, an eatery, performance space, etc.) and what kinds of organizations might have offices there.

He needed time to learn coping skills and start growing out of the gutter. Even a year ago, this probably would've been too much stimulation for him. But now, it's just right -- he has his private studio, and he also has lots of fascinating things happening right outside his door to entice him out, like the still life art shelves or all the workshops. He even has several folks who decided to be his friends, who'll come rap on the door and coax him to interact, and who are smart enough to bait him with fish, art, or something else they know he loves.

:D If you want more, it's a perfect match for Tuesday's fishbowl theme of "Non-standard Identities." I doubt there's a standard one in the building who isn't there as somefreak's ride or walking wallet.
