Here are the character notes for "Connoisseurs of Comfort."
Headtunnel (Helen Eldredge) -- She has tawny-fair skin, brown eyes, and long wavy blonde hair often with the tips tinted in pastel colors. She is tall and slim. Her heritage includes American, French, and Scottish. She speaks English and French. She is 20 years old in 2015. She was born in 1995.
Headtunnel grew up in Emerald Mountain Glen just outside of Rutledge, Vermont. She enjoys working with computers and other technology. She also likes crafts, especially upcycling. A cat lover, she often makes things for the cats who live at the commune.
Qualities: Good (+2) Bohemian, Good (+2) Computer Geek, Good (+2) Crafts, Good (+2) Dexterity, Good (+2) Logical-Mathematical Intelligence
Poor (-2) Tall Girl Problems
Headtunnel is T-American slang for both the drug trip effect and the computer animation effect that looks like sliding through a long looping tube, usually with bright colors. A mandala is a static, 2D image of the 3D effect.
Anna the Patchwork Girl (Anna Pacella) -- She has tinted skin, green eyes, and long red-gold hair. Her heritage includes American, Irish, and Italian. She speaks English and Italian. She is 28 years old in 2016.
Anna grew up in California. She is the mother of son Patrick "Pat" Pacella (4). She earned a Bachelor of Science in Animal Science & Management with a Companion Animals Specialization: Cats and a minor in War-Peace Studies at the University of California-Davis. There she joined the Animal Science Student Mentorship Program, Board Game Club, Book Group: Reading for Pleasure, Peace Club, and Yoga of the Heart. After graduating, she took a Cattery Management Program online, recommended by several cat fancier associations. She can't stand dogs, though, and doesn't do much better with dog fanciers.
Curious about landraces and how people select for desired traits in a casual context, Anna moved to the Emerald Mountain Glen commune near Rutledge, Vermont in 2011. There she studies the Vermont Shag Carpet Cats raised by the residents, a landrace dating back to the commune's founding in 1961. She has added her cat Ninepatch to the local population. Ninepatch is smart enough to use a push-button communication board.
Qualities: Good (+2) Bohemian, Good (+2) Cat Expert, Good (+2) Crafts, Good (+2) Naturalistic Intelligence, Good (+2) Peacework
Poor (-2) Not a Dog Person
