Check out this tribute to Mr. Rogers. I greatly admired his work in teaching children the values of imagination, self-love, and community. I liked being his broadcast-neighbor. Still miss him, hope we bump into each other in another life.

Oh my God! He was my childhood hero! I love Mr. Rogers. For my birthday last year, I got a book of his quotes--very inspirational and imaginative! He was an amazing man who I would have loved to meet. ^_^ I loved watching his show as a child. It's good to find someone else who admired him as well.

I loved Mr. Rogers, too. Here via a link from xterminal. For a different post, but I decided to lurk a bit.

I watched his show with my son when he was small and Mr. Rogers' Neighborhood was his choice to watch when he was home sick until he was nearly in middle school. "Put on a Mr. Rogers tape, Mom." I would settle him into the big chair and pop in a tape and he would be happy as a clam. Thanks for the memories.
