Sometimes it seems like the only reading that "counts" is either weighty non-fiction or novel-length literary fiction. But those who love to read often have a diverse array of reading interests, from poetry to fanfic to newspapers to web comics.

Community Description: an annual fiction challenge with focus on a different poet every year as inspiration
Each year, there will be a featured poet, and on January 1, participants will be given a stanza or poetry fragment from the work of the featured poet as a prompt.
Participants will have 31 days to write at least 1,000 words.
