Birdfeeding

Today is partly sunny and cooler than recently.  We got a sprinkle of rain last night.

I fed the birds.  I've seen a pair of cardinal, a pair of house finches, a dove, and a female goldfinch.

I planted a privet along the west edge of the savanna.

EDIT 7/9/22 -- I planted another privet along the west edge of the savanna.  This is the last of the privets, and the end of the 4-months-late planting.

EDIT 7/9/22 -- I spread the rest of the topsoil around the privets with the least coverage.

EDIT 7/9/22 -- I started mulching around the privets, but I'm running so low on mulch that I only scraped up half a bucket.  :/

As it is now dark, I am done for the night.
