I took some pictures in my yard on Sunday, May 30.



This is a wide view of the barrel garden.


Here is a closeup of it.  The yellow flower is wallflower, the little round leaves are nasturtiums, and the heart-shaped ones are morning glories.


This is Solomon's seal blooming in the forest garden.


The purple and white garden is mostly hostas now.


The septic garden is still ringed with wild onions, but there's butterflyweed with buds on it.


The white garden has two yucca flower stalks growing.


The wagonwheel garden still has come peonies blooming.


This yellow-and-white iris is in the wagonwheel garden.


This one is purple.  I don't think I've seen it bloom before.


This is the telephone pole garden with a hollyhock and some lilies.


The wildflower garden has coneflowers growing.


This is the savanna.  The saplings have comfrey growing around them to bring up minerals.


The comfrey is blooming.


Mulberries are turning pink.


Butterweed is blooming in the prairie garden.


Sunchokes are sprouting too.


There are a few milkweeds.


The tall, slightly bluish grass is Big Bluestem.
