In the John Sebastian song "What A Day For A Daydream", there's the line "It's one of those days for taking a walk outside; I'm blowin' the day to take a walk in the sun, And fall on my face in somebody's new-mowed lawn."

Of course cutting the grass releases clouds of pollen into the air, afflicting some of us with runny noses, sneezing, coughing, running and burning eyes, and other unpleasantness. Why does my immune system believe that grass pollen is going to kill me?
