Birdfeeding

ysabetwordsmithToday is partly sunny and hot.
I fed the birds. I've seen house finches and doves. There was a squirrel running around in the trees when I went out.
I watered plants in the barrel garden and container garden.
EDIT 8/19/21 -- We picked up a pile of grass in the ritual meadow and hauled it away. I used two rakes to pick it up, and was intrigued by how much I remember about using large gripping limbs to lift and manipulate things -- not just the broader motions to pick up things, but smaller ones to knock off clingy bits of grass. It's not even muscle memory, because I don't have the same muscles, but something very like that, an ingrained sense of how such appendages can move and work. It carries over even with prosthetic claw-hands.
