Birdfeeding

Today is partly sunny and mild.

I fed the birds.  I've seen house finches, doves, and cardinals.

We went out to get mail and I saw a meadowlark.  They used to be common around here, but habitat loss has made them rarer; I haven't seen one in years.

The basement is flooded again.  We have managed to lower the water level from several feet down to about a foot.  This may have something to do with the air conditioning malfunction.
