The Kickstarter for Coyote and Crow met the $750,000 stretch goal and has now announced the final stretch goal for $1,000,000.

It will include a fully functioning dice app to allow those without physical dice to still be able to play the game.
It will include the Kag Chahi glossary so players can easily refer to the language of Coyote and Crow.
It will also be updated with rules clarifications as well as Coyote and Crow news.

Rebecca Roanhorse is a NYTimes bestselling and Nebula, Hugo, and Locus Award-winning speculative fiction writer, having written Black Sun, Star Wars: Resistance Reborn, Race to the Sun, Trail of Lightning and more.

We'll work to time the release of this digital adventure so that it's ready at the same time as the release of the final PDF version of the game and will be available through multiple sources.

Me too, that's why I sponsored at the 2-copy level. I want to see more material like this -- games, fiction, whatever I can get -- that builds on Native American experience in positive ways.

same here. I shared it everywhere. I need to see if I can use paypal (mom took all my credit cards just in case since I'm not always sharp eyed here in the nursing home)

PayPal should work, I think that's how we pay for ours. If it doesn't work, you could ask someone else to sponsor the thing for you. It still has a few days left.

I'll do that thanks...maybe as the social worker just told me my insurance wants me to go pay for respite care out of my own pocket vs honoring their allowable days of skilled care...sigh

You have to remember that it's not insurance to take care of people, it is "Insurance" that you pay so people don't hurt you. Don't expect to get anything out of them, because they don't make money if they have to keep paying for care.

It creates an inherent conflict of interest between people who want to pocket the money and people who want to get health care. In fact, any time the client is not also the paying customer, there is a conflict of interest; but that is worse when the person paying is unrelated and/or directly profits from withholding care.

I have met a few -- and I could count them on one hand -- medics who genuinely care. It's so rare, it's startling and disorienting. The system as a whole is parasitical, evil, and highly prone to killing its own staff in addition to hapless clients.

Then people wonder why it has an approval rating of around 33% and PTSD rates that sometimes exceed those of multiple-tour combat veterans. 0_o

You are so right. I fought hard as I could in the VA only to run into a brick wall. It was really disheartening

Well now, the VA is a special case of malicious denial of care, exceeded only by the vicious neglect in institutions. Aside from the general evil of abusing random people, there is the even more egregious evil of systematically abusing those who risked their lives for their country. But it's not completely useless. If one ever wishes to dissuade a young person from joining the military, a trip to the VA is an excellent step. If that doesn't faze them, they're serious and should be left to their choices.
