Yeah, considering the persistent tendency of human farmers and other life forms to go for volcanic soils even with the possibility of new eruptions... LOL.
Volcanic soil is among the most fertile on the planet, along with glacial till (which is also formed by violence as the massive ice sheet grinds rock to dust) which is what my area has.
When you think about human relationships, sometimes trauma just breaks people, but other times they learn valuable things from it that provide fertile ground for personal growth.
