Poem: "The Three Nevers"
Jan. 12th, 2020 09:08 pmThis poem came out of the January 7, 2020 Poetry Fishbowl. It was inspired by a prompt from
corvi. It also fills the "War" square in my 1-1-20 card for the Less Usual Bingo Patterns fest. This poem has been sponsored by

"The Three Nevers"
-- a Mongol triad
Never will the ocean run dry.
Never will the fire turn cold.
Never will the Khan be forgotten.

Notes:
A Mongol triad is a poem with three lines, customarily naming three things with a common quality.
Genghis Khan was a famous warrior and ruler in Asia.
