Here is my card for the School Days Bingo Fest over in [community profile] allbingo. It has three different categories: School Words, Childhood Experiences, and Robert Plutchik's 1980 List of Emotions.  The fest celebrates all kinds of schools and other educational experiences.  All fandoms and original works are welcome, in any format or length.  I have chosen to make a mixed card this time.  The fest runs from April 1-30. (See all my 2019 bingo cards.)

If you'd like to sponsor a particular square, especially if you have an idea for what character, series, or situation it would fit -- talk to me and we'll work something out. I've had a few requests for this and the results have been awesome so far. This is a good opportunity for those of you with favorites that don't always mesh well with the themes of my monthly projects. I may still post some of the fills for free, because I'm using this to attract new readers; but if it brings in money, that means I can do more of it. That's part of why I'm crossing some of the bingo prompts with other projects, such as the Poetry Fishbowl.

Underlined prompts have been filled.

Shiv is absolutely going to be drawing on the sidewalk in chalk sometime, somewhere out in public.

Why not? Although I also had thoughts of some harder prompts which I will share with you on the day.

It occurs to me the Alicia Martin has never been to school... not as such. Perhaps she's undercover, pretending to be a 'nary... or perhaps her Guardians are trying to get her to fill in the blanks of a 'normal' childhood...Or who knows, maybe she's just curious what being in a Waldorf or Montessori school is like. [or.. some combination of all three.]

Either way, imagine her, just being a normal young girl, hanging upside down from a tree, or playing with pavement chalks.. maybe making a friend or two.

If something for the 'nine intelligences' prompt for Schrodinger's Heroes would be up someone's alley for sponsoring, I would much like to read that.

/continues to not have a bank account. .-. I AM interested, though!

Good heavens, Schrodinger's Heroes is pretty much built on the nine intelligences! :D

I don't know where it fits into the card, or even if it fits into the card, but... Weeton High School, 30 years after "Fifty Feet and Climbing"

Let's see, squares of this that my Ravenstone stuff checks off...

* Learning disability, because the character Joaquin has dyslexia. At least one other character has ADHD as well.
* Bullying features in the story a lot, as a sad reality of school.
* Gifted - Dalia has the gift of being an empath. Vedya is gifted in math and language learning.
* Vedya's gifts make her twice exceptional. Actually, since Dalia can also see magic, she's twice exceptional as well I suppose.
* Disapproval, yeah. Kinda hard to have bullying without that.
* Dalia's got a different sensory mode where she can see magic.
* Boredom, check.
* Language, check. Dalia, all three of her parents, both of the grandparents who live with them, and all her siblings speak Spanish, English, and ASL. Vedya speaks all those and a bunch more (for a total of like, 9 languages last I checked.) Dalia's friend Sally also knows ASL. Acorn speaks Spanish, English, and Arabic. Joaquin and Sarah speak Spanish and English. There's more, but those are the big ones.
* Surprise, yeah, plenty of that.
* Same with apprehension.
* Question, yeah.

* Submission hasn't really come up yet, but it easily could.
* I hadn't considered nine intelligences before, but yeah, I will now.

Creek hiking is hiking along a creek, right?
