25. Tell me your life story in four minutes, with as many deets as possible.

I grew up in a house in the country, where I now live with my partner Doug.  I am a writer.  I garden for wildlife.

I have done my best not to be a self-made bastard. I gave birth in the house my grandparents built. I live in another house now, with five men. I am a writer.

I grew up a mile from anybody, went away and came back; pursued computers and dropped them, pursued language and found computers, pursued computers and found people. I test software. I like crafts and growing things. I love the sky.

Adversity and Aloneness...

...have been the great teachers of my life. I like to win, and when I lose I take the leavings and figure out how to use them to win. My life now is my husband, my pet business and writing, my secret lover.
