El Salvador Bans Metal Mining

Yet again, America is not #1.  El Salvador is the first country to put a total ban on metal mining to protect its water supply.  \o/

I was just thinking; what happens if that idea spreads? After all, we still needs those preciousss.. *ahem*

Then I thought, well, if metal mining is getting harder to do here, maybe the mining companies will start taking the idea of asteroid mining more serious. And they have budgets that would cause NASA to go giddy.

I was so mad when so many years ago Scott Walker was entertaining the idea of bringing back metal mining around a recovered water source.
