We went out for a late skywatch and I spotted a green tree frog clinging to the door. :D He is a very pale jade green without the pale stripe they sometimes have.
I saw a different kind of tree frog when I was little, so I knew they were in the area.
The first time I saw one in my yard was several years ago when the central air broke down and I had a window unit in my office for months. A tree frog came inside to pursue all the bugs swarming into my room. I scooped him up and took him outside.
Tree frogs are awesome! Our yard has quite a number of small toads this year and my dogs are very curious watching them jump across the yard, my youngest being scared of them. Probably a good thing.
