The
crowdfunding Creative Jam ran this weekend with a theme of "Creation and Destruction." See my activities.
There will be a half-price sale in Polychrome Heroics this week. Watch for the sale post to appear later today; I have the notes done but it'll take me a while to post.
Poetry in Microfunding:
"Energy, Made Visible" belongs to Polychrome Heroics: Shiv and has 34 new verses. Dr. G and Shiv explore therapy questions about sleep and diet.
"Only If It Is Embraced" belongs to Polychrome Heroics: Damask. Ham grumbles over the arrangements.
The weather has been hotter here. Most of the big puddles in the fields are gone, and all the smaller ones. The yard is lush and green. Seen at the birdfeeders this week: sparrows, mourning doves, several cardinals, and plenty of of house finches. In bloom: marigolds, gazania, blue lobelia, white alyssum, zinnias, yarrow, torenia, salvia, cleome, petunia, million bells, snapdragons, lantana, coreopsis, dianthus, peppers, lamb's ear, comfrey, basil, daylilies, begonia, golden raintree, and sundry others. Raspberries, crabapples, and apples have green fruit. Mulberries, serviceberries, and cherries are ripe. I have planted everything from the previous batch of plants.
