Half-Price Sale in Polychrome Heroics

There will be a half-price sale in Polychrome Heroics from Monday, June 18-Sunday June 24. 

Worth noting, my partner Doug's computer is dying and needs to be replaced.  Based on the current estimate for hardware and shipping, I'm setting a goal of $700.  Accordingly, there will be perks along the way.  I have some Terramagne demifiction to share for this.  So if you've been eyeing a piece in Polychrome, now would be a very good time to buy it.

Is there anything on the lower end available? I'd love to buy some, and a sale is the best time for my budget, but I've mostly seen epics and things over $100 on the landing page. (Also a few things I know are posted lack links, BTW.) I'll poke about the budget for some extra to toss in the general fund if there's not, to take some ease off the emergency level of the computer replacement. A dead computer is no fun to deal with on a bootstrap budget, I well know.

People tend to buy the shorter stuff during fishbowls. There should be some things under $100 though.

Most of the stuff on the main Polychrome page has been sponsored by now, just not linked. We're trying to get the site updated but there's a big backlog. :/

That would be awesome.

Other options:

* Watch to see if anyone opens a pool. That often happens.

* Call for cosponsors to split a poem.

* Open a longer poem for microfunding. At present there is one slot open.

If there's a quarter-price option (there usually is for popular series), I will likely open a pool for at least the quarter-price qualifying amount.

If you are interested in any of the poems I'm targeting, you're welcome to contribute any amount toward them. If there are other poems you are interested in, please mention them with your contribution, and as contributions rise, I will incorporate them into the poems the pool sponsors. Contributing to the pool allows you to sponsor anything at the quarter-price rate, so the impact of your contribution doubles on the spot! That may allow you to buy a whole poem that was otherwise out of reach.

Looking forward to seeing what you are interested in when the sale opens.

Which story was it where the headmates finally started realizing and addressing how they were scapegoating Keane? And when did they start seeing Doc G? It's mentioned in some of the later stories but I don't remember ever seeing that begin.

There were several early on that laid out the scapegoating problem. I think the first time someone stands up for Keane and makes it stick is in "Only If It Is Embraced" but that part isn't posted yet.

That introduction was in one of dialecticdreamer's stories. I'm not sure if it got posted.
