You know, Kraken must have been active during WW2, and probably in league with the Resistance as well as S.O.E. against the Nazi's. [well, I can't see them supporting them]. I wonder if there isn't somewhere a Kraken agent, with fond memories of an impulsive and determined young Junior Commander Liz Windsor.
That said, Kraken probably infiltrated the rank and file of the Nazi's, sort of pulling a reverse Hydra, in order to better bring them down, or at least limit the damage. [and just coincidently, scoop up anything worth having that might turn up.]
