crowdfunding Creative Jam. It was inspired by a prompt from alexseanchai. It also fills the "deus ex machina" square in my 4-7-18 card for the genprompt_bingo fest.
"SPIRITUAL AWAKENING"
-- an acrostic poem
Something stirs within,
Pressing against awareness.
It rises from the subconscious,
Rushing upward through dream
Into your conscious awareness,
Taking you entirely by surprise.
Until this deus ex machina, you
Always slept through
Life.
Awake,
Wide-eyed, you
Alter your course.
Kindness seems
Essential now.
Nothing is simple.
It drives you onward,
Nudging you toward
Glory.
