The Casualties of WWII

While discussing the history of T-Britannia, I had cause to reference one of my favorite WWII documentaries, this brilliant animation of the casualties. When I name Russia and General Winter as the reason for Germany's ultimate defeat, this illustration shows why in a way that makes it much easier to grasp than just hearing the numbers. I maintain that America's main contribution was stepping in with fresh resources at a time when most of Europe was worn down by years of war.

Yeah, me too. But it's good to remember. It's a way to pay homage to the dead, to see a representation of them all together.
