Pretty much the one thing you can rely on nowadays, things can and often will get worse for the bottom 80% .. stay more-or-less the same for the middle 19% and get much, much better for the 1% at the top.
In fact, almost none of the last "recovery" reached the middle class, let alone any lower. The majority loses, the 1% suck it up, and then they wonder why the country is falling apart. Because no matter how much you cook the books, you can't run 80% of the country on 20% of the wealth.
