Hard Things

Life is full of things which are hard or tedious or otherwise unpleasant that need doing anyhow. They help make the world go 'round, they improve skills, and they boost your sense of self-respect. But doing them still kinda sucks. It's all the more difficult to do those things when nobody appreciates it. Happily, blogging allows us to share our accomplishments and pat each other on the back.

What are some of the hard things you've done recently? What are some hard things you haven't gotten to yet, but need to do?

Inept parents, missing a reunion, stress over money and school -- those all sound quite discernible to me.

You burned up a lot of extra energy recently, so it's no wonder you're tired. If you have extra tasks that you want to complete for your sake, by all means do what you can. If you're exerting yourself for your parents' sake ... why?

*sigh* I've known many people who got pulled away from their spirituality because they simply didn't have any resources to spare beyond survival. >_<

That sucks. It's hard to have a life when you're scrabbling just to survive.

We need a job-one that will leave us a little extra, the only problem is that we cain't (I'm Isaiah, hi) make over $130 'fore taxes, an' we ridin' the line wi'our parents givin' us shit every so often 'cause we don't see any of the SS money we git 'cause debt and the like-and it jus barely coverin' stuff and the only reason it is is because of Energy assistance Program credits.

I keep tryin'a tell huh she doin' good, but she so...down in theah that it hard to reach right now. It's almost like this thin's got her in a funk an' she ain't come out yet. :(

yeah, an' we cain't get out an' live 'cause the concert we wanna go to's gunna cost sixty, an' we either keep the rest of the tips for emergencies, or we spend it on concert 'cause we can't do both. :(

Ya do good for us, thank ya.

I think it's evil to force people into poverty like that. I mean, who's benefiting from all your hard work? Clearly not you. Somebody else is creaming off all the profit.

It was our dumbasses who didn't thin to be doin' research 'fore we left for CO (OK not us, but the predicessors) an' now we payin' off a credit card we done maxed out 'fore we left-and SSA 'cause we didn't think they'd see rent-income as income, an' now they want the loan(s) an' the rent we earned while out theah back. Not to mention the credit card we usin' for emergencies every so often (Which we still payin' on)+the other bills-there ya go.

All this 'cause the government don't consider debt livin' expenses.

An' I'll agree with ya-the whole system need an overhaul-no insentives to get the fuck off ya ass an' start workin. No wonder so many people's got so many issues here. o.o

Ain't easy some days, but we manage. Thankfully. Jus gotta pull ourselves along by will-somethin' we ain't quite used to doin' just yet. But we havin' to learn quck like. *sighs*
