This poem is spillover from the September 2013 Crowdfunding Creative Jam. It was inspired by the sculptures of Choi Xoo Ang. It has been sponsored by [personal profile] kengr. This poem belongs to the series Diminished Expectations. For the two or three people actually into that series, three of its poems have been sponsored, so hang onto your hats!

WARNING: This poem (and the series in general) contains material that many readers may find disturbing. Highlight to read the warnings, which basically consist of a solid wall of triggers. The setting is a dystopia which is horrible for everyone, with rampant racism, ableism, and other oppression. It features graphic sexual exploitation, objectification of disabled people, pictures of explicit sculptures (although they're amazing as art), and other mayhem. Please consider your tastes and headspace before deciding whether this is something you want to read.

"Perpetration"

Amnesty lies on his back,
his enormous cock jutting up
between legs that end at the ankles.

He has no arms, no mouth, no nose,
his eyes dark and hazy,
ears sticking out at the sides.

He cannot run away,
cannot even walk,
has no means to push
unwanted touches from his body.

He is only there to be ridden.

Deliverance lies on her back,
spreading thighs that end above the knee
to expose the pink folds of her vulva,
and below it, the closed circle of her anus.

Her breasts are small and firm,
little pyramids turning pink at the tips.

Like her brother, she has
only eyes and ears,
no nose or mouth or arms.

Her softness is only there to be penetrated.

Their bodies are pale as clay,
pinkened only in a few places,
turned out into the world half-formed
and helpless in the hands of those
who hold power there.

Brother and sister,
they are united in their misery,
squared when they are
put to each other instead of strangers.

What they feel,
when they can feel anything,
is not lust but resignation.

They are not the ones who bear the sin of it.

Notes:

Read a list of virtue names. The Diminished are customarily named in this fashion.

[These character images are all graphic and NSFW. But they are impressive art.]
See a long view and closeup of Amnesty. See a whole and partial body view of Deliverance.

Sexual exploitation connects with human trafficking and is generally thought of as a problem concerning women and children. However, men can be victimized too. There are ways to stop it.

People with disabilities have a higher risk of discrimination, sexual exploitation, and other abuse. Learn about how to fight it for people with and without disabilities.

*snicker*

There are a lot of deities who would have a dim view of these assholes. No wait, assholes serve a useful purpose...

I have the urge to make a rescue attempt. And clobber some brothel owner, jeez!

I do like this series, dark though it is.

Yeah, they're scary all right.

One pic seems to be missing:
«See a whole and partial body view of Deliverance.»

Took a look at Choi Xoo Ang's work.
Choi is very talented as well as thought provoking.
That one with the tongues intertwined will probably put me off French kissing for a while though....
:^)
