Brown Thrasher

ysabetwordsmithI saw a brown thrasher busily digging into the hopper feeder. :D They are cheerful singers and voracious insectivores, supplementing with seeds when insects are less plentiful.

Date: 2017-04-27 11:17 pm (UTC)One summer when I was a kid, a pair of thrashers made it their business to follow my cat around ALL THE TIME and yell at her. That was the only time I'd ever seen her intimidated! Porr girl spent most of the summer indoors- horrors!
