Holiday Poetry Sale Update

Today is the last day for the Holiday Poetry Sale.  LiveJournal has had service interruptions the last couple of days, so I haven't been able to update as reliably as I'd like.  However, the list should be current as of the timestamp on this message. If you are concerned about this, feel free to email me before making your final shopping decisions.  I'll be in front of my computer most of the day.  

On timing: if you have holiday plans which prevent you from finishing your poetry shopping today, but you know you want in, talk to me.  We can probably work something out.  Same goes if you've already sent a donation but need to square up a day or two later.  Just keep me posted on what you're doing so I can account for that.

Mom and Dad have sponsored their batch.  Poems marked "SOLD" are fully funded and will get posted as I have time.  

There is also a pool open with daisiesrockalot, ng_moonmoth, technoshaman, and sweet_sparrow.  If you are interested in the "HOLD for pool" poems then you can chip in toward them and more poetry will get funded as a result. Remember the pool gets the quarter-price rate!  Some of the funds have come in so far, some I'm still waiting for, but if it all comes together as expected, I think most of the earlier stuff in the list is covered and we're currently looking to fill in "The Fullness of Life."

I'm looking at $101 for poetry. I want the poems "The Day of Their Calamity" and "Baroque Motives" with the rest of my credit going towards the pool with technoshaman.

:-D I am working on a poem which is the response of one of the healed soldiers to "The Day of Our Calamity" but I think I can use your usual useful footnotes to clean it up and send to you.

Okay, in addition to the ones already marked ("Hunting", 1/2 share; "Grace", 1/2 share, and "Horse", 1/3 share, all of which add up to roughly $55), I want "The Best Place" ($103/2=$51.50), "Threat" ($40.50/2=$20.25), and "Shrovetide" ($21.50), which together are $93.25. librarygeek was already tagged for $57 worth above, which leaves her with $44 for the pool, which leaves me throwing in an additional $49.25 over what I had tagged... for my grand total of $104.25. Which will be incoming shortly.

"The Best Place to Be Right Now" just sold to janetmiles.

All the Dr. Infanta poems are either sold or on hold in the pool.

At the deep end of the pool is "The Fullness of Life," which is huge and I don't think fully accounted for yet. But the calculations of what's covered in the pool are currently over my head and I think even Doug has lost track of exactly where we are. 0_o

However, some problems are nice to have.

I would like to chip in a small donation towards a pool that needs it, but I need to check on money stuff AFTER a holiday thing that I am currently taking a break from to figure out how much.
