First round: Planted two smooth asters and two northern sea oats in the wildflower garden.
Second round: Planted two short's asters, a wild quinine, and another flower in the wildflower garden.
Transferred four more worms to the barrel garden.
Also today I'm making sloppy joe mix, so that's where most of my energy is going.

So it should not take long for the barrel to achieve a healthy supply of earthworms, now that I have remembered to add a few. :D

Wow! Yes, they do that occasionally, but most of the time they come up it is when the ground is very wet so there is less sound. My grandfather used to water the lawn in the late afternoon, then after night we would go out to catch worms for fishing. It worked.
