Mmmmm, pie. Never seen fish pie other than tuna pot pie before... sounds yummy. Hafta take the bugs out if I'm cooking for the east coasters, but mdlbear's half of the crew would be all over it.
No, on this coast you get crab shacks and fried-fish fast food as far south as Ventura; dunno what you get in LA or Sandy Eggo... on the other coast you really didn't see much in the way of on-the-beach food, but a *lot* of sit-down family-type restaurants, most of which are quite good... the restaurants out here tend to be high-end. :/
England is crawling with chippies across the street from the beach... and in Hawai'i? Shave ice. :)
