And not to end up a hermit. Yes. Special needs includes everyone who requires teaching, tools, or other accommodation different from the usual, in order to have a functional life.

Agreed. In Terramagne I have a long list of superpowers, which are mostly positive but some have serious drawbacks; and a short list of superdisempowers which are wholly negative. But most things can be positive or negative, usually depending on how much control the user has.
