I think he enjoys the booze and attention. I'm not sure that exactly qualifies as "fun" and I really don't think it's healthy for him. He probably hams for the cameras so much that it blurs his real feelings.
Or to put it another way: Tony Stark likes loud drunken bashes. Tony Carter probably does not.

I have no active plans to do Tony's birthday, but do have notes for him being utterly baffled at how certain team activities are more fun for him than getting plastered with complete strangers.
