On a storytelling note: that leaves the story line open for Faramundo to head back to work, under the guise of necessity, and Amada looking around for work locally, if you need to.
I generally don't insist on "happy endings"-- but in this case, the more development in the characters, the better outcome in the long run, might just involve the family breaking apart. I don't see divorce as 'bad' or 'wrong'-- just difficult!
