Aw. poor Antimatter. But I think this was the kick in the pants that he needed to clarify his own thinking, so I'm sort of glad it happened and sorry for him at the same time. What the SU folks call an "Emotionally Complex Response". :-)
This bit jumped out at me: They must have called him 'Brick' again, because superheroes thought that his real name was vulgar, and he hated that.
Sounds like somebody needs to give the good guys a lesson in "people deserve to be called what they want to be called".
I enjoy the Damask stories, but this sub-thread is really calling to me hard for some reason. Maybe I've been reading too much slash fanfic!
