Very little works against bullying. Even for adults the highest success rate -- hiring a lawyer -- yields a dismal 16%. Telling an adult about bullying only helps if the adults are, in fact, willing and able to intervene. They almost never are. Flip is smart and resourceful, so he worked his way through a good list of techniques before discovering that the problem was just plain beyond his ability to solve.
