This notebook is printed with nonstandard line patterns for inspiration in thinking outside the box.  Frex, there are swirly topographical lines, pages with upswept lines, etc.  I can think of at least three ways this would be useful:

* brainstorming ideas in a business meeting where you really need an unconventional solution to a problem

* as a framework for art

* as a framework for shape poetry

But given the option of modern technology, this product would be more useful as a set of image files that could be reprinted as needed.  In hardcopy it's ideal for fieldwork but much less replicable.

I'd prefer it in digital format, too. Not just to print out infinite copies of favorite pages, but so I can set a color for the lines which ISN'T blue. I get bored of it, especially when paying premium prices.

This is kind of cute and an inspiration for notebook pages I could come up with for my own products. *muses* Thanks for sharing!

I think it's a good idea. There's a really popular exercise, I think it shows up in Drawing on the Right Side of the Brain, where you draw a blob or something and then trying to figure out what it could be. I think on a subconscious level having different line shapes will get the viewer thinking of what to draw or write, and I like the idea of having a journal which might be more fun to look back in.
