A Bounty Story

I have a piece of mythological kinky erotica, based on old stories about Odin and Loki. (Depending on which sources you read, they were originally blood-brothers and/or lovers, not father and son.) "Brotherlove, Brotherlust" pieces together a bunch of the myths to show how Loki is mischievous but generally good-hearted, trying to right the wrongs of the world in ways that just never quite go as planned. It's 10,000 words long and divided into about 11 subsections, although some of those are very short and others will need to be broken down into reasonable segments.

Here's where the "bounty" part comes in. Audience interaction will unlock new pieces of the story. You can choose from:

1) Exploration.  Read any piece of my original writing that you haven't seen before; doesn't matter whether it grabs you or not, I just want to encourage people to try new things. A couple of big archives include Torn World (fiction and poetry), Schrodinger's Heroes (fiction and poetry), and the Serial Poetry page. If you're reading Love Is For Children  for X, try Y ...

Family: Fiorenza the Wisewoman, Hart's Farm, Monster House, Torn World, Walking the Beat, "Odds and Ends"
Teambuilding: The Blueshift Troupers, Schrodinger's Heroes, "The Hand of Sedna"
Trauma & Recovery: One God's Story of Mid-Life Crisis, Path of the Paladins, Polychrome Heroics, "Without Fail" 
Fluff: Hart's Farm, "The Flight of the Rose Butterfly"
Superheroes: Polychrome Heroics, "The Hand of Sedna"

2) Swap!  Fanart of my work, fanfic of mine or someone else's, you get the idea.

3) Word-of-mouth advertising.  Recommend my original work on your blog, my fanwork in a fanrec community, whatever you feel is worth sharing with other people wherever you think it would be relevant.

Post back here with a link or description of what you did, and I'll reveal a new bit of "Brotherlove, Brotherlust."

I'm probably going to bow out of the new story, though. I'll reviw when it's complete, maybe be able to read it then.

Yay! Yes, it's a big project. If you kind of like it but don't want to lose half a day at a time, just watch for me to post about new things going up. Then you can read individual ones that appeal to you.

One thing I love about a shared world is the opportunity to write and share demifiction like that. ellenmillion asked me to write up the paddlefish from "Forbidden Love," so I'll try to do that for Sea Monster Month.

Yeah, some aspects of Torn World are kind of creepy.

Started reading Path of the Paladins series. Arghh, I have to have a LIFE you know! Can't just sit around reading all the time, more's the pity. :-D

Poked around Torn World, what a massive project, its hard to believe it could ever be "finished". Read several of your poems and skimmed the article about snowys.

As for brother love , brother lust , I thought chapter two was hilarious ! Its refreshing to see the charcaters like this, i grew up with some of their legends. Hope there's a bit of resolution and debunking destiny toward the end though.

Yes, there is some change and resolution at the end. How long that takes to reveal will depend on people doing things to support it. There are three parts up currently.
