JARVIS is pretty set on his self-image. He inhabits buildings, and also the Iron Man suits; but he doesn't do solo humanoid bodies.

On the other hand, he does have some tactile input from the tower, and over time more of the Avengers are starting to offer him physical affection. This is something I hope to explore further as the series continues.

I think it's because he starts out small and soft and harmless-looking in the movies, despite his very formidable skills.
