Well, here's a fascinating surprise! Titan apparently has a much richer supply of liquid hydrocarbons than Earth. This article has details.

This could be a valuable resource, and it's in a place where pollution and mining activities wouldn't harm people. In the presence of that much organic matter, though, I'd check very carefully for weird life before concluding that industrialization would harm nothing. Now wouldn't that put the kittens in the knitting ... a massive supply of hydrocarbons, far away from Earth's fragile biosphere, oh wait there's something trying to eat the camera.

By the time we get to mining Titan, I'd be seriously concerned if we were still using carbon fuels and filling our atmosphere with pollutants.

I still think it's freaky to burn hydrocarbons at all; they're more useful as building materials.
