A Smartwatch

 ... is on its way.  Bear in mind that the first iteration of anything is likely to be clunky until people work the bugs out.  But hey, we've been waiting for this one for decades.

I'm also amused because in my Terramagne setting, smart tech developed along the lines of the vidwatch first, and the larger phone version came later.

I'll do that on my way back to the future from saving the library of Alexandria's collection from its two fires, and saving the materials from all the libraries that Ghenghis Khan/mongol hordes burned down.

Then Turing and I will go piss on Hitler's corpse before returning home.

I have this one civilization I want to use in a story, a race of preservers. They preserve knowledge and even civilizations. If something is going to happen to a planet that they can't prevent, they will teleport the people and buildings, etc. into data storage, fix or replace the planet, and put the civilization back.

And their library... they're time travelers too, among other things, so they've got everything ever written by every civilization they've ever run into. Every version of everything, too.

Only thing is, they're so powerful it's a bit hard to come up with stories with them in it; after all, they can rebuild entire planets in a matter of hours, and create entire stars in a matter of days. I may just have to have stories that are basically "HOLY SHIT WHAT THE HELL JUST HAPPENED I JUST SAW SOMETHING I CAN'T UNDERSTAND I THINK I JUST SAW GODS."
