The January 2013 Crowdfunding Creative Jam is open on Dreamwidth and on LiveJournal.  This month's theme is "nonviolence."  Please drop by to leave us prompts, or claim prompts for your own creative endeavors.

Among my projects that run to nonviolence are An Army of One: The Autistic Secession in Space, The Bat VampiresHart's Farm, and Kung Fu Robots.  In Torn World, the South dislikes violence and the North tends to run on consensus.

What I Have Written

"A Taste of Things to Come" (An Army of One) -- FREE
This is the session's freebie, about the importance of food even when there's a war on.

"A Choice of Three" (Torn World) -- 57 lines, Buy It Now = $20
When three handsome brothers ALL decide to court Eruun, the four of them must figure out how to resolve the matter amicably.  Written in unrhymed tercets.

"Listening to the Lifebeat" (The Bat Vampires) -- 30 lines, Buy It Now = $15
Explore how vampires can feed without killing their prey.  Written in unrhymed tercets.

"Experts Talk Logistics" (An Army of One) -- 206 lines, Buy It Now = $103  SOLD
A bunch of secessionists discuss how to replenish their food supply, what they could grow and where.

"Do Wrong to None" (An Army of One) -- 111 lines, Buy It Now = $55.50  SOLD
I combined the prompts about body language and repelling an attack to get the free-verse poem "Do Harm to None."  A secessionist code interpreter who speaks primarily in quotations struggles to stay on the base that has become his home.

"Conscientious Objectors" (An Army of One) -- 72 lines, Buy It Now = $36  SOLD
Two jumpships talk about secession, obedience, and war.
