Fiction Goal 1/3 Complete

This morning (that is, Wednesday morning, though it's after midnight so this post will have a Thursday timestamp) I woke up with a story in my head. It happened to be a fairy tale, and for me those usually run about 1000 words. So despite having a ton of other things to do today, I sat down and wrote it first. This applies toward my goal of writing at least three short stories this year. The story is "The Girl Who Spoke Toads" (that is not a typo) and it's about a princess who drops toads and snakes from her mouth when she speaks.
