I think it would be awesome to budget for NASA to commission new music for missions like this. Why shouldn't each mission have its own exciting soundtrack? This would employ composers and musicians, introduce more folks to modern orchestral music, and boost interest in the space program.
And if the government won't get off its bloated lazy ass, maybe we could crowdfund something.
